Thoracic Outlet Syndromes
Thoracic outlet syndrome is a condition in which a multitude of
symptoms pertain to one disorder but each of the symptoms can have a
different cause. In thoracic outlet syndrome, all have one symptom in
common, which is pain or problems in the shoulder, arm, hand or neck.
This is a neurological disorder that is similar to many others in
that it seldom occurs, the cause is unknown or obscure, and there is
little knowledge of its history. Instead, there are many theories, each
gleaned from experience with a single patient.
Any person indicating signs or symptoms of thoracic outlet syndrome
should be referred to a neurologist for diagnosis and most effective
treatment. This is another disorder that has limited options on
treatment, but much encouraging research and studies in stem cell
therapy. Regardless of treatment, a healthy lifestyle of proper
nutrition and exercise will not only benefit this disorder but almost
any health problem. For more information on a healthy lifestyle view my
