Boil Infection Skin
Boil infection skin may affect hepatitis or liver problems.
Abscesses are infections in the hair follicles by staphylococcal bacterium. Most commonly abscesses appear on the face, neck or arms and sometimes on the breast or buttock. Abscesses are much like pimples only much larger, are tender, have pus in the center and create a feeling of fluid in the area. Abscesses are contagious and could infect a large group that occupy the same quarters, use the same dining area and toilet facilities along with poor hygiene. Carbuncles are clusters of abscesses that are capablae of causing much more pain and fever than single abscesses. The favorite spot for carbuncles is the nape of the neck. A single abscess may be eliminated with no more than moist heat with no squeezing or other treatment needed. Tne best prevention for abscesses is strict hygiene. The skin should be kept clean with soap. A soap with anti-bacterial substance is better and will provide the most effective protection.

Although abscesses most commonly infect on the face, neck or arms, an abscess can appeare on any place on the body that has an injury that breaks the skin. The bacateria that cause abscesses could be on the skin and penetrate at the point of injury. The abscess can cause severe pain, fever, tenderness and a feeling of fluid in the area. The surrounding area must be kept clean to prevent infection, which if infected could cause a severe condition of cellullite. A severe boil can be eliminated by a doctor who can lance the abscess and drain the pus. All pus must be drained, but if there is a small remainder the doctor can remove it with a salt solution. If the abscess is completely free of pus, no additional treatment will be needed. If an abscess is near the nose, it should not be lanced. The doctor should use oral antibiotics as the remedy to avoid the danger of brain infection.
