Boil Under The Skin

Boil under the skin may affect blood sugar and hepatitis.

Abscesses usually infect in the hair follicles on the face, neck, or arms but can infect on any part of the body that has an injury with a break in the skin. Because the abscess is contagious it can be present on the skin and penetrate at the point of injury. This could happen from bacteria that have been on the skin for a long period, but infect because of the break in the skin and the skin with dirt or foreign matter at the site. The abscess may cause severe pain, tenderness, and a feeling of fluid in the area. The skin near the abscess must be kept clean to keep from infecting the surrounding area which if infected could develop into a severe case of cellulite. Boil under the skin may affect blood sugar and hepatitis.

A doctor will be able to recognize ot as it creates a bump; however, it may be necessary to have the doctor surgically remove the abscess for diagnosis and additional treatment.
