Boil Skin Infection
Boil skin infection may affect hepatitis and liver problems.
Abscesses are infections from staphylococcal bacterium that usually infect on the face, neck, arms or sometimes on the breast or buttocks. Infections are almost always in hair follicles. But bacteria can cause boil infections on any part of the body that has an injury which causes a break in the skin. Because the abscess and bacteria are contagious, the bacteria can be present on the area ahd penetrate at the point of injury. The abscess may cause a severe pain,with tenderness, pus in the center and a feeling of fluid in the area. The area around the abscess must be kept clean to avoid infection in the surrounding area which if infected can develop a severe condition of cellulite.

A severe abscess can be treted successfully by a doctor who can lance the abscess and drain the pus. All pus must be drained, but a small reainder can cleared with a salt solution by the daotor. If the abscess is completely free of all pus no further treatment will be needed. However, if the abscess is located near the nose, it should not be lanced. Instead, the doctor should treat it with oral antibiotics. This type of treatment will avoid the danger of brain infection.
