LASIK Eye Surgery

LASIK Eye Surgery

LASIK eye surgery is a laser surgery outpatient procedure for treatment of certain vision impairments such as astigmatism, nearsightedness and farsightedness. This procedure is used to correct the condition without using eyeglasses or contact lenses. In most cases the LASIK eye surgery gives good results, but as with any surgery there are risks involved. No one should decide on this procedure without a thorough discussion with the ophthalmologist. The doctor should outline the benefits and risks involved and then the person can make an intelligent decision.
