Drugs should be avoided unless felt necessary by the doctor, but if taking drugs try the healthy lifestyle in conjuction with the drugs which will make it unnecessary to continue drugs after the critical level is reduced. The exercise program should be thirty minutes three to six times per week. Proper nutrition means to eat no refined carbohydrates or glucose, eat fruits, vegetables, lean protein, cold water fish, sprouted grain bread, celery stalks or celery juice and two table spoons daily of ground flax seed in water, soy milk or fruit juice. Limit salt to 2.3 grams and eat at least 4 grams of potassium each day.
