Diabetes High Blood Pressure

Diabetes high blood pressure may affect arthritis or cholesterol. The most effective treatment for hypertension and one that should be tried before using drugs is to adopt a healthy lifestyle of exercise, weight control and nutrition. This remedy will work regardless of other diseases the hypertensive person may have because almost any condition will benefit from a healthy lifestyle; although there may be slight modifications depending upon the disease. Healthy nutrition means to eat no refined glucose or carbohydrates, eat fruits, vegetables, lean protein, cold water fish, fiber, sprouted grain bread, celery stalks or celery juice, two table spoons of ground flax seed taken each day in water, soy milk or fruit juice.

Exercise at least thirty minutes three times per week; a thirty minute brisk walk will be perfect. Best food supplements to help hypertension are policosonal, fish oil, and multivitamins. Limit salt to 2.3 grams each day and eat plenty of food with generous amounts of potassiium such as sweet potatoes, bananas and tomatoes. Diabetes high blood pressure may affect arthritis or cholesterol.
