Proper nutrition means to eat no refined glucose or carbohydrates, eat fruits, vegetables, lean protein, cold water fish, sprouted grain bread, celery stalks or celery juice, and two table spoons of ground flax seed taken each day with water, soy milk or fruit juice. The exercise program should be thirty minutes three to six times per week and will lower the hypertension level as well as lower body weight. Best food supplements to include in the diet are policosonal, multivitamins, and fish oil. LImit salt to 2.3 grams per day and eat at least 4 grams of potassium each day.
