The most effective treatment for hypertension is a healthy lifestyle of proper nutrition, exercise, and weight control. Proper nutrition means to eat no refined sugar or carbohydrates, eat fruits, vegetables, lean protein, sprouted grain bread, cold water fish and fiber. Eat one half cup a day of celery or celery juice as celery cleans the arteries and increases circulation. An exercise program should be a minimum thirty minutes three times per week.
