Proper nutrition means to eat no refined glucose or carbohydrates, eat fruits, vegetables, lean protein, cold water fish, sprouted grain bread, eat celery stalks or celery juice and two table spoons of ground flax seed taken each day in water, soy milk or fruit juice. Supplements necessary in the treatment are policosonal, fish oil and multivitamins. Limit salt to 2.3 grams per day, but eat 4 grams of potassium each day.
Fruits and vegetables like tomatoes, sweet potatoes and bananas are loaded with potassium.
