Hepatitis C Symptom

Hepatitis C symptom may not affect blood sugar or baldness. People with the acute condition of this virus do not require any treatment because after the first few days of symptoms the appetite returns, the person does not have to rest in bed, and may return to work or regular activities after the jaundice disappears. People with the severe version of the acute condition may have to be hospitalized, but most will recover with no treatment. As many as 75 percent of the acute conditions may become chronic. Chronic liver disease with this virus could continue for years without producing any indications of the disease. The cases that hang on for several years rarely cause problems and if so the problems are minor. However, a few cases that continue to produce inflammation may cause slow deterioration to the liver causing liver failure and cirrhosis. Hepatitis C symptom may not affect blood sugar or baldness.

Prevention of this virus infection depends on strict hygiene. Do not share personal items with other people such as razors, tooth brushes, or drinking glasses. This virus is responsible for most of the chronic liver cases that develop. Some of the drugs for acute liver disease are responsible for chronic liver disease of this virus if taken over a long period. This virus condition is a disease of the liver that is transmitted mainly from blood transfusions. Many of the cases are transmitted by drug addicts who share needles. A few years ago as many as 80 percent of the cases were from transfusions, but in the last few years this has been substantially reduced because of screening blood donors, by eliminating many of the donors who were paid, and by getting transfusions from relatives and friends. There are indications that as many as four million people are infected with this virus and many of the cases will develop into chronic liver disease that may lead to cirrhosis and liver cancer. There are some healthy people who are chronic carriers of the virus. Most of these cases can be remedied by oral drugs under a doctor's care Hepatitis C symptom may not affect blood sugar or baldness.
