Cholesterol test will reveal no information on arthritis or high blood pressure.
To obtain a reading of a lipoprotein level in the circulatory system requires a laboratory analysis of a sample of fluids in the arterial system. The sample will record the total of lipoproteins, the amount of the total that is high density lipoprotiens which is HDL the good lipoproteins, and the total that is the low density lipoproteins which is LDL the bad lipoproteins.

Cholesterol, arthritis
The HDL good lipoproteins cleans the arteries, and LDL bad lipoproteins clogs up the arteries. The goal is not to lower the total lipoproteins to the lowest level, but to keep the HDL up to more than 25 percent of the total of lipoproteins. The acceptable total of lipoproteins is l40 to 200 milligrams per a decileter; however, the better level is between 160 and 200 because too low a level is just as dangerous as too high a level.
