Cholesterol Testing
Cholesterol testing will not furnish information on blood sugar or arthritis.
To get an accurate reading of the lipoprotein level in the arterial system requires a fluid sample from the arterial system to be checked in a laboratory. The test will give total lipoprotein level, totsl low density lipoproteins (LDL)and total high density lipoproteins (HDL). There are very low density lipoproteins but in most cases are too small to have any bearing on the lipoprotein levels.

Cholesterol, blood sugar
The lipoproteins are one of the two major fats in the arterial system. The other fats are triglycerides, which are not as important from a health standpoint as the lipoproteins unless the level is well over 200 milligrams.
