A healthy lifestyle of exercise, weight control and correct nutrition is the safest and most effective remedy to drop the lipoprotein level. Correct nutrition means to eat no refined glucose or carbohydrates, eat fruits, vegetables, lean protein, cold water fish, sprouted grain bread, and two table spoons of ground flax seed taken daily in water, soy milk or fruit juice. Food supplements necessary in the nutrition include policosanol, fish oil and multivitamins. The exercise program should be thirty minutes three to six times per week.
