Stress cause vertigo may affect high blood pressure but not asbestosis. Motion sickness from a boat or car is one of the most common types of dizziness. This is a temporary condition that disappears shortly after the motion stops. An organ in the middle ear that controls balance creates many attacks of dizziness. There are many conditions of the middle ear that create dizziness such as abnormalities of the inner ear, bacteria or virus infections, nerve inflammation, tumors and toxic substances.
