More severe conditions of dizziness need to be referred to a specialiist for diagnosis and the most effect treatment. If the person has dizziness along with a headache, weakness in a arm or leg, or difficulty speaking, the person should be rushed to a hospital for emergency treatment because it may be a stroke.
