Benign paroxysmal positional dizziness is a condition that happens frequently. It begins suddenly and lasts only a few seconds. This condition could be from a blow to the head or some age related condition. It is triggered while lyiing in bed when the head has a sudden movement to right, or right to left, or backward looking up. This is a temporary condition that will clear up in a few weeks with no treatment.
