Possible causes of dizziness will not affect high blood pressure or acne. Motion sickness from a car or boat is one of the most common forms of vertigo. This is a harmless condition that will disappear shortly after the motion stops. An organ in the inner ear that controls balance is responsible for many attacks of vertigo which include abnormalities of the inner ear, infections from bacteria or virus, nerve inflammation, tumors, and toxic substances.
