Diabetes Blood Sugar Testing

Diabetes blood sugar testing will not test arthritis or cholesterol. A diabetic must get frequent readings of the glucose level to keep it within or close to within the normal range of 70 to 110 milligrams per a deciliter. If the glucose level is controlled to close to the normal range, it will prevent severe complications of the disease. Diabetes blood sugar testing will not test arthritis or cholesterol.

Diabetes Blood Sugar Testing

  -

blood sugar, arthritis

The glucose level can be controlled with insulin or medication, but most diabetics can control the disease throgh proper nutrition, weight control, and exercise. Weight control is of the utmost importance because ninety percent of diabetics are obese, but for many of them a loss in body weight of five to ten percent is all it takes to get the glucose level into the normal range. Diabetes blood sugar testing will not test arthritis or cholesterol.
