Proper nutrition means taking no refined carbohydrates, eat five servings a day of fruit and vegetables, eat a lean protein with each meal and eat 25 grams of fiber each day. For food supplements take a good multivitamine that has all the essential vitamins and minerals. Take one half teaspoon of cinnamon sprinkled on food or in capsules. Exercise a minimum of 30 minutes three days per week.
