Blood Sugar Check
A blood sugar check does not give any information on high blood pressure or arthritis.
If a person has symptoms of diabetes such as excessive thirst and urination, a reading of the glucose level should be made to confirm diabetes. If the reading shows a significant elevation of the glucose above the normal 70 to 110 milligrams per a deciliter, it confirms diabetes.

Blood Sugar Check
-
blood sugar, high blood pressure
If a person has diabetes 2, the goal is to contain the glucose levels within or nearly within the normal range. The glucose levels can be controlled through weight control, proper nutrition, and exercise. Weight is of paramount importance; since most diabetics are obese, a loss in body weight of five to ten percent may be all it takes to bring the glucose to normal.
