Low Blood Sugar In Newborns

Low blood sugar in newborns will not effect cholesterol or arthritis. The fetus in a woman who has diabetes during the pregnancy period usually is a much larger baby than the average size. This happens because the woman gives a high glucose level during the pregnancy to the fetus. The fetus may be so large that the infant may have to be delivered with a cesarean section. Low blood sugar in newborns will not effect cholesterol or arthritis.

Low Blood Sugar In Newborns

  -

blood sugar, cholesterol

After the baby is born and cut off from the mother's high glucose level, the glucose in the baby takes a sharp drop and goes into hypoglycemia. The infant needs to be closely monitored for the glucose level and may need to get glucose intravenously. Low blood sugar in newborns will not effect cholesterol or arthritis.
