Low glucose levels sharply below the normal are conditions of hpoglycemia. This is a dangerous condition as it cuts off glucose from the brain. It must be remedied quickly and this can be done by eating glcose tablets, candy, or any food containing glucose. Hypoglycemia usually happens to a diabetic who has taken an over dose of insulin.
