To make it convenient for the diabetic to take glucose level readings at home, a small kit has been designed. The kit has a lancet to prick the finger for a glucose sample which is placed on a reagant strip. This strip changes colors based on the glucose level, but is not as accurate as placing the strip in a small digital machine which gives an accurate reading. Frequent readings which are charted gives valuable information which will help the doctor with proper remedies for the disease.
