Blood sugar fluctuations will have little or no effect on cholesterol or arthritis.
The glucose levels of a person who has no diabetes or hypoglycemia will still have variations during the day. After getting up in the morning the glucose level should be in the normal range of 70 to ll0 milligrams per a deciliter. After breakfast it rises and about two hours later it will be back in the normal range.

The glucose level usually rises afer a meal or drinking liquids and after an hour or two it will lower back to or close to within the normal range. A diabetic will have wide swings in the glucose levels depending on how serious the disease is. In rare cases with diabetes it could rise to five or 600 milligrams and in hypoglycemia could drop as low as l5 to 20.
