Hypoglycemia cuts off glucose from the brain and if not corrected may cause brain damage. The quick remedy for hypoglycemia is to eat glucose tablets, candy, or any food that contains glucose. This condition can be caused if a diabetic takes an over dose of insulin. To avoid this, the diabetic should take smaller shots more often as directed by the doctor. The condition may also be caused by fasting or skipping a meal. Symptoms of low blood sugar will reveal no symptoms of cholesterol or high blood pressure.
