Diabetes can be prevented by weight control, nutrition, and exercise. Proper nutrition means to cut down sweets, eat no refined glucose or refined carbohydrates, eat fruits,vegetables, lean protein,cold water fish,fiber and take a multivitamin with all necessary vitamins and minerals. Exercise a minimum of thirty minutes three times a week. Average blood sugar level will have no effect on cholesterol or arthritis.
