Diabetes can be controlled by proper nutrition, weight, and exercise. Most diabetics are obese and a five to ten percent reduction in body weight may be all it takes to lower glucose to normal.Proper nutrition means cutting down on sweets, eat no refined glucose or refined carbohydrates, eat fruits, veetables, lean protein, and fiber. Take a multivitamin and one half a teaspoon of cinnamon springled on food or in capsules. Guidelines to blood sugar level will have no bearing on arthritis or cholesterol.
