Post Prandial Blood Sugar

Post prandial blood sugar will not affect arthritis but may affect cholesterol. Sometimes a diabetic may have a sharp drop of the glucose level after a meal when the diabetic does not eat enough. This is a condition of hypoglycemia which happens when the glucose level drops significantly below the normal range of 70 to 110 milligrams per a deciliter. Post prandial blood sugar will not affect arthritis but may affect cholesterol.

Post Prandial Blood Sugar

  -

blood sugar, arthritis

This is a dangerous condition and must be promptly remedied as the glucose is cut off from the brain and the hypoglycemia could quickly develop into a severe case. This condition can be corrected immediately by eating glucose tablets, candy, or food containing glucose. Eating crackers or bread may be helpful in case a need is for a longer lasting correction. Post prandial blood sugar will not affect arthritis but may affect cholesterol.
