Low Blood Sugar During Pregnancy

Low blood sugar during pregnancy may be influenced by cholesterol but not high blood pressure. A woman who has gestational diabetes must be under a doctor's care to keep the glucose level within the normal range of 70 to 110 milligrams per a deciliter. Unless the diabetes is controlled both the woman and fetus are at risk. Low blood sugar during pregnancy may be influenced by cholesterol but not high blood pressure.

Low Blood Sugar During Pregnancy

  -

blood sugar, cholesterol

The mother should be prepared at all times to remedy a glucose drop significantly below the normal range. This can be corrected by taking glucose tablets, candy or food; and the mother should carry a packet of glucose tablets at all times. Diabetes usually ends after the pregnancy. The doctor should closely monitor the glucose level and the mother should follow his instructions. Low blood sugar during pregnancy may be influenced by cholesterol but not high blood pressure.
