Cut down or eliminate sweets and for sweeteners use xylitol or stevia. Eat no refined glucose or carbohydrates but eat fruits,vegetables,lean protein, whole grains and fiber. A great source for fiber is ground up flax seed and sprouted grain bread. For food supplements take a good multivitamin that has all the necessary vitamins including the minerals and one half a teaspoon of cinnamon sprinkled on food or in capsules.
