Gouty arthritis will have little or no affect on blood sugar or high blood pressure. An attack of gout may happen suddenly which is an affliction of joints. The non steroidal drugs may cause bleeding ulcers if used over a long period; however, in this case the gout only lasts a few days so it is safe to use the non steroidal drugs if directed by the doctor.
